De Grachthof is a passionate family business with a long history behind it.
We therefore find it important that we continue to renew our cozy and hip farm. This means that within our restaurant we always strive for delicious, high-quality dishes and keep our menu up-to-date. You can therefore enjoy our à la carte during lunch, drinks and dinner. Moreover, our spacious terrace faces south and is a wonderful place to spend your summer days. Overlooking the village canal and water, you will regularly see boats passing by while you enjoy our popular tapas board with a matching bottle of wine.
It all started with a farm on the village canal in Giethoorn
where the cows made room for three apartments and where a number of boats were purchased for boat rental. This was the beginning of our family business. A few years later, another lunchroom was added. After a major renovation in 2006, 'de Grachthof' was created. Now we are still as a family at the helm of this cozy and atmospheric restaurant with boat rental, right in the center of Giethoorn and on the village canal.
