Grachthof is more than just a restaurant in Giethoorn where you dine in the evening. You’re welcome all day long: start with a cappuccino and fresh pastry by the water, enjoy a relaxed lunch, or drop by for tapas and a good glass of wine. From 5 PM onwards, we serve dinner — ranging from light and refined to rich and hearty. Whether you want to have lunch, drinks, or a full dinner, everything is possible at Grachthof. Our menu changes regularly with surprising dishes and local products.

Our restaurant in Giethoorn is housed in a former farmhouse that has never lost its character but has adapted with the times. The wooden beams in the ceiling tell stories from the past, while large windows and clean lines give the space a fresh, modern look. The interior is carefully chosen — warm colors, stylish furniture, and a layout that invites you to dine in comfort and relaxation.

Spontaneously went to the Grachthof and the friendly staff arranged for a nice table in the new part. We had a nice view of the canal and sat corona proof. We had a delicious meal, the service was good, friendly and everything went smoothly.

We came in with four colleagues and it took a while before we had our first drink on the table. But from then on it went fine. Nice to eat outside. Good service and a delicious dinner. Absolutely recommended.
