Job description
As a chef, you'll contribute to the preparation of dishes using fresh ingredients and/or products pre-processed and portioned by suppliers. You'll be responsible for the preparation and presentation of dishes and portions of dishes. You'll work according to established instructions regarding ingredients, recipes, working methods, and presentation. Your supervisor will be the sous chef or head chef.
Your tasks
Preparing dishes and ensuring the mise en place is in order.
Plating dishes, in accordance with the chef's presentation requirements.
Cleaning and tidying up, such as correctly taking and clearing orders.
Suggestions for improvements and optimization, to be shared with your manager.
