Grachthof Giethoorn is a family-run business, comprising a restaurant and boat rental. It's beautifully situated on the village canal, right in the heart of Giethoorn. Our goal is to ensure all our guests have a delicious meal or a wonderful day out. We achieve this by delivering high-quality service and products in a beautiful setting. Job description
As a service manager, you'll oversee our operational staff. You'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and guiding our employees in their work. You'll possess a healthy dose of enthusiasm and know how to motivate the service team. You'll participate in operational operations, and your manager will be the operations manager.
Your tasks
Operationally manage the service team.
Participate in service.
Provide timely (drink) orders.
Contribute to personnel management.
Identifies areas for improvement and submits them to the manager.
What are we looking for?
You are hospitable and energetic, and you know how to inspire the team.
Experience in the hospitality industry (preferably in a management position) is a plus.
You are attentive to our guests and the image of our restaurant.
Flexible and stress-resistant.
Good organizational skills.
Fluent Dutch and English.
