Grachthof Giethoorn is a family-run business, comprising a restaurant and boat rental. It's beautifully situated on the village canal, right in the heart of Giethoorn. Our goal is to ensure all our guests have a delicious meal or a wonderful day out. We achieve this by delivering high-quality service and products in a beautiful setting. Job description
As a service employee, you provide service in general and specifically by responding to guests' expectations and wishes. You are primarily responsible for serving drinks and dishes or making drinks. Depending on your experience, you may also be assigned to take orders, accept table reservations, and settle billing. Your supervisor is the Head of Service.
Your tasks
Preparations for service, such as setting tables for groups and parties.
Thanks to your service, our guests experience an optimal experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave the restaurant.
Cash register and accounting tasks are correct.
Table reservations are entered correctly and discussed with your manager as needed.
Tidying and cleaning tasks, such as ensuring the restaurant always looks neat.
What are we looking for?
You are hospitable and enjoy providing our guests with a pleasant experience.
You are attentive to our guests and the restaurant's appearance.
You are willing to perform a variety of service tasks.
You are fluent in Dutch and/or English.
